The Cove project was overseen by Chris Ware and our site foreman, who was on-site on a day-to-day basis. We arrived on-site after the original fire-damaged building had been demolished and removed. Ware Construction plant arrived on-site and the initial phase involved a huge amount of digging and landscaping work to form level ground for the build.

This particular build used a number of innovative techniques including polar wall construction known as 'Insulating Concrete Formwork' where polystyrene blocks are filled with concrete (as seen on Grand Designs!). We also worked with specialist aluminium and glazing contractors to create a tremendous light-filled entrance hall, and the feeling of light and space continued throughout the property.

We worked closely with both the architects and client in order to deliver a high quality, individual build, which was completed on time and within budget.
